Netflixcentral ("we," "us") is an independent U.S. help directory and tech-support service. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, call us or use our services.
1. Scope
This policy covers information collected on this site, by phone, text, email and in support sessions. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, such as companies' official help centers, which have their own policies.
2. Information we collect
You provide
- Contact details: name, phone, email, state.
- Support details: device types, app names, error messages, internet provider.
- Directory suggestions and messages you send.
- Payment information, processed by a PCI-compliant payment provider; we don't store full card numbers.
- Call recordings, where permitted and disclosed.
Collected automatically
- IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, referring page, date and time.
- Cookie and similar data (see Section 6).
Sensitive information
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information. Please don't share it with us.
3. How we use information
- To provide support and return your calls or messages.
- To process payments and send receipts for services you buy.
- To research and improve the directory and guides.
- To prevent fraud and secure our systems.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it only to:
- Service providers (phone systems, payment processing, hosting, email) bound by contract.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect safety and rights.
- A successor in a merger or sale, who must honor this policy.
- Others with your consent.
5. Calls, texts & email
- Recording: calls may be recorded for quality and training. We tell you at the start and honor all-party-consent state laws. You may ask not to be recorded.
- Calls and texts: consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, we contact you only about your request or with your prior express consent. Consent is never a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
- Do Not Call: we honor the National Do Not Call Registry and our internal list.
- Email: marketing emails follow the CAN-SPAM Act and include an unsubscribe link.
6. Cookies
Essential cookies make the site work, such as remembering your cookie choice. With permission we may use analytics cookies to understand site use. We don't use advertising cookies to sell or share your data. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request, and you can clear cookies in your browser at any time.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed: typically support records up to 24 months, call recordings up to 90 days, and payment records as long as tax and accounting laws require. We then delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including HTTPS encryption and access controls. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we'll notify you as state law requires.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on your state (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and Oregon), you may have the right to:
- Know and access what we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.

10. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
In the past 12 months we collected these categories for the purposes in Section 3: identifiers (name, phone, email, IP address); customer records; commercial information (services purchased); internet activity; and audio information (call recordings, where disclosed). Sources are you, your device and our service providers.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: we do not sell or share personal information and have not in the past 12 months, including that of consumers under 16. We do not use sensitive personal information in ways that trigger a right to limit. Under California's "Shine the Light" law, you may ask whether we disclosed information to third parties for direct marketing; we do not.
