History of Netflixcentral

How a simple idea, helping people reach the right support without the runaround, grew into Netflixcentral.

Our story

Why we started

As streaming replaced cable, households ended up with a patchwork of apps, sticks, smart TVs and Wi-Fi gear, each with its own support site, hours and phone tree. When something broke, it was hard to tell whose problem it was, let alone how to reach them.

Netflixcentral began with a simple observation: most people don't need a clever solution, they need a clear next step. Which company controls this fix? Where's their official help page? What can I try in the meantime? We set out to answer those three questions in plain English, for free.

Along the way, callers told us they sometimes wanted a patient person to stay on the line and walk them through the fix. That led to our optional tech-help line, always labeled independent and always priced upfront.

Note to site owner: the milestones below are a template. Replace the bracketed dates and details with your real company history before launch so every statement on this page is accurate.
